  1. J. Brown says:

Purchased this printer about 18 months ago. Initially worked fine but be prepared for recurring costs like “Transfer Roller” ($75),”Imaging Unit ($250)” in addition to ink.

Worse than the costs of these is the fact that sometimes the Imaging Unit was unavailable. I mean unavailable at any price, any place. Xerox is/was obviously having supply chain issues. Some of the suppliers I spoke with in my hunt for an Imaging Unit indicated that it wasn’t the only consumable they were having issues with from Xerox.

Now the printer will not print black…everything black comes out very light gray. Have changed everything possible to try and correct but no joy. Of course it is no longer in warranty etc. etc.

Bottom line is I am still on the hunt for a reliable, speedy color laser printer but this was my second and last attempt with Xerox to meet that need. It did last a couple of months longer than the Xerox solid ink printer which was the first attempt.
