Wow, something under $10k that can email me out the faxes it receives. Seems too good to be true. 24 Hours into it, it is. Cannot fax, cannot receive. Makes a fast copy, but pretty noisy. Xerox tech support is sending me a replacement one. BTW, the techs are Canadian. The first tech was great, knew the intricacies of Ethernet, the second one, an idiot. Hold times were minimal. My wife laughed out loud when I said I was buying an MFP, saying that her office is on their FIFTH (5) Hewlett Packard MFP within the year. I said, wait, this is a XEROX…any brand that spells their name in all caps has to be good, right?

I went through many HP multi-function printers that sucked and when i bought this printer and got it i was stunned by how sturdy and expensive it looked. the document feeder works great as everything else. network option super!!!

This all in one machine might be just fine for someone who doesn’t need to scan or copy on legal size paper. I thought it had a legal sized flatbed scanner but it didn’t, so I had to return it. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t put a larger flatbed scanner on it.

Like some others, I really researched this purchase, and decided that the Phaser 3200-N was the only MFP that did everything we needed. My wife does loan processing from home, so everything she does needs to end up in PDF. This machine does exactly that.

I got it yesterday, set it up last night. It took about 2 hours total. 15 minutes for the physical set-up, 45 minutes to get my home network to recognize it correctly, and an hour to get the fax-foreward to email working correctly. I’m somewhat tech savvy, but by no means a pro. The Xerox help website had the answers to getting the email to work easily.

It works like a dream. Incoming and outgoing faxes are forwarded to our email as PDF attachments. Scanned documents are saved to the PC as PDF files. Print quality is good. It scans, faxes and copies of legal sized documents using the sheet feeder, which, to us, makes up for not having a legal sized flat-bed. My wife even scanned a pile of mixed legal and letter sized docs, and they all came through correctly in the PDF.

If I have to find some faults, it’s that it is a bit loud, the documentation to set it up is sparce (I had to go to the Xerox website to get the detailed instructions that

  5. During several weeks I was reading all the possible reviews and information available about many many many multifunctional printers, trying to find the best option for my small office, with no results.

It was very frustrating to find a lot of devices on the market which do many things but none with all the possible options included. Finally, I got it: 3200 MFP/N.

I think the 3200MFP/N is a printer in the same way of a Swiss Army knife is just a knife. In fact, it looks more like a copier than a printer.

    Pros:

    - All the basic: Copy, print, scan, fax.

    - Excellent quality.

    - Scan to Network, all from the panel.

    - Very fast.

    - an Auto Document Feeder that really works!

    - Fax to Email (receives a fax and sends a copy to your email)

    Cons:

    - When you just power it on, it sounds like a small jet starting a fly, but no specially noisy compared with most laser printers.

It has all the standar options available on most multifunctional printers and a lot more. If you need a real All-in-One, this is for you.
