This item fails….I bought it for it’s mutilfunction and network abilities…. It came without a network card, and the card it needed…came without a cable… Buy a cheap lazer printer and scanner and fax, and you will be better off. That is my opinion of this expensive and failed product.
I bought this Laser MFC-8840d remanufactured because it was only 280.00 about 9 months ago. Boy, I love my machine. I bought it for personal use and I use it for work. It prints great and does everything I wanted to do. I had a Brother inkjet before and it was good, but it was very expensive of buying the inkjet carts. I decided to go with a toner type and it does saves you alot of money. It takes a little bit of time to figure the MFC-8840D, but after you figure it out it is super. Great buy.
I was extremely pleased with the condition of the product and quick delivery. It was difficult to tell that it was not new. Equipment has been functioning satisfactorily with no problems.I particularly like the quick warm up time and ease of use. Would recommend this product to others.
I have had this machine for few months now and must say once set up well is a great machine. I had to buy the optional network card to use as a network printer and set up the fax, scan and print capabilities. All the functionalites have networked well and the printer is fast and solid. I have recommended to friends and they are also happy with this machine. You will not be dissapointed with this product.
