Bought this printer from Staples, work ok for about three months, I went to change cartrage, would not accept them. Played with this for about two hours and gave up
this printer is really not good. Buying a new one today.

I guess my last review was a little too over the top and Amazon took it down.
After tweaking with this printer for two hours, I finally got it to recognize the print cartridge that CAME with the printer. But then, the cartridge carriage jammed. After playing with it for another hour, I was able to get the printer to print a test page. And did one scan.
However, the next day, the cartridge carriage jammed again. It says there is some kind of obstruction… packing material…. But I have looked all over and find nothing.
I have owned several HP printers and have loved them. I kept them until they became obsolete due to the fact that computers use USB ports rather than serial ports for printers.
I bought this printer because it’s advertised features fit exactly what I needed. But what good are features if you can’t get the darn thing to work. If there were a rating of “0″ stars, I would give this printer that. I will not buy another HP again.
This wasn’t purchased at Amazon, but at a Office Depot store locally for $69.99.
Right off the bat the printer wouldn’t recognize the color ink cartridge. Had to go purchase another cartridge.
Not liking this low end printer. Previous HP printers have been great, but quality has taken a nose dive.
