new 2350 ..does not print. lexmark web page does not list this model?? so can not look at FAQ and “online support” has not responded with a solution ..so far I have waited 27 hours for their response. Booklet shows no example of what test page should look like? nor does the website…wish I could bill them for my time …so far a definate 2 thumbs down ..will probably return this tomorrow?
I can offer a different experience that is complete opposite to Stretch’s. I have this exact model Lexmark Printer – and have owned it for six years. I have never had a single problem with it. It only requires one Lexmark ink cartridge (Lexmark #1 cartridge – cost about $21. at WalMart)and lasts for quite awhile. Changing cartridge could not be any easier – literally less than one minute! It’s able to hold around 80 sheets of paper, and prints very nice. It finally died a few days ago – the paper feed wheel that grabs paper and rolls it straight into the printer has broken. I cannot feed paper due to the broken wheel(causes paper to feed skewed to the right and therefore jams and cannot go into the printer). If not for this issue, the printer would still be printing for me. But I cannot complain in light of the age and low cost of this printer. I’ve long ago gotten my money’s worth from printer – and I am having much difficulty finding a replacement for it today(I believe this model is no longer being made by Lexmark) and my search for a new printer that can even just equate to this model has yielded zero results! Can anyone suggest a replacement printer for me that costs less than $40.00, and is an all-in-one(able to print, make copies, send faxes), requires only one ink cartridge that supplies both black and white and color print, and cost only $21.00, and takes less than a minute to replace ink cartridge – and is so dependable and well made that it will last six years, requiring no repair in all of those six years? I’ve been searching every day and haven’t found one yet!
