  1. If I had known ahead of time what I was getting into, I would have made another selection.

  2. If the reason for purchase is 2 sided printing, stay away from this printer. In this mode the size is reduced by half!

Save your money and buy good whiskey.

  3. I had high hopes. Noisey and so violent it shakes the desk. Printing is ok at best but expected more. The dated and built in obsolecence of the ink is a joke and there to guarantee you will spend more money than needed on very expensive ink replacement.

Unfortunately, I found out that too late. I know there are ways to “fool” it (by removing the battery)but you should not have too. Never another HP product. Seller was great but the product is a ripoff and you can do so much better. Its a mistake I will have to live with but if you have not got a printer yet, you can avoid the mess.

I bought this printer a month back and faced lot of problems with it, especially paper jam. IMHO, it is not worth it if one considers the time wasted in resolving printer problems.

I purchased an Officejet Pro 8000 wireless printer and it was a major job to set it up. The printer lost contact with the router on several occasions and I had to go through tech suport to get it up and running again. One call lasted 96 minutes before they could figure out the problem. I finally had to get the entire printer replaced because it kept spitting out configuration reports and would not stop nor could it be stopped. I wouldn’t recommend this printer unless you are majorly patient.
