I bought this printer at Office Depot, and I am a novice to say the least. First of all, I have no idea how to actually print pictures on this, but I am sure I will figure it out. There arent really instructions with it. Secondly, there is a footer page that prints after every print job that I cant get to stop. I even called HP and they dont know what the problem is?!?!? So after each page I print, a second page of thick black and light blue graphs print (what a waste of ink). I’m sure the printer is okay, but the technical support isnt really there for the technologically challenged.
Feel free to let me know how to fix my footer problem!
I’m Jonny and my brother wrote a review on my printer. I am in 6th grade and do all my homework, projects, and everything else on my computer and the HP DeskJet 5940 is the best way to suit what I need. With speed, reliability, and quality it is the best on the market for it’s price. The HP DeskJet 5440 (I think) is very good also but just does not have the speed, external low ink indicators and the same pages per cartridge as the 5940 does. Both are exellent printers.
MY brother’s printer is very good for all his needs! He uses it on a DELL INSPIRON 8000 note book with Microsoft Windows ME. WE had not had any problems with it. we also bought it with a 2 year extended plan at STAPLES. I am buying an hp psc 1610 all-in-one with a 2 year extended service plan!!!!!!
I highly RECCEMEND THIS TO ANY PERSON!!!!! I also wrote a review on the Hp Photosmart 2610 ALL-IN-ONE!!!
MAKE WISE Choies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After swearing by Epson printers for years this printer has changed my perception of HP. It’s great. No clogged nozzles to worry about. Excellent print quality. Auto-shutoff capabilities. Very inexpensive, but as with most injets, the cost is in the cartridges – although they do last a long time. Highly recommended.
Disappointed to find that this thing refuses to print on our corporate stationery which we’ve been using for years with no problems with previous printers. So it’s been a total waste of money for us. You might be lucky, but is it worth taking the chance?
