The printer seems fine, although I have not yet tried all functions. It seems excrutiatingly slow.
I just unpacked and set up this printer. Software and printer set up nicely and quickly on the computer. When I printed out a photo from my sd card the results were not impressive so after installing the software on my computer I printed the same photo. Printing from the computer was much faster and the coloring was brighter but I am still not impressed with the final results. I purchased this printer to replace a Lexmark all-in-one that simply wouldn’t work with my Vista. I also own a Pixma IP6700d printer and the photos are great. I will most likely be taking this printer back.

Slightly noisy but no more than any other printer I’ve owned.
The print quality is good, especially for the price.
very noisey, price was ok, but wish now I had got another model , not crazy about the loud noise ,when it takes the sheet of paper in, if it were a machine from 10 yrs ago, I would expect it, but for 2009 I did not.. The print out is ok. Price was good, so guess I got what I paid for. Also have a problem loading paper, does NOT ’set’ in as it should.
Going from a life-long relationship with HPs was a small challenge, but I’m pleased with the move.
