I’ve had a few Lexmarks which I bought because they were cheap, and now I see the difference. This was easy to install, the software doesn’t interfere with my other applications — which would prevent me from launching IE, Photoshop — it has great features and was still affordable. I’m a happy camper.
Another great printer/scanner from CANON – exceptional service and shipping from AMAZON. This is my third Canon All-in-One; i update every couple of years to have the latest features. On Amazon the price is always right. Built-in Wireless on my iMac is everything it should be – easy to setup and easy to use. Print quality and speed makes this a good upgrade. My favorite feature is the automatic duplex printing. This is the best of the best and i am happy to wave 5 stars!
This replaced a MP600 that worked fien and stopped with an error code (2 years old) that Canon can not provide information on. Cheaper to buy this new one than to repair the old one.
This has wireless that the mP600 didn’t That takes awhile to get setup. Make sure to download the latest drivers from Canon’s site since it doesn’t ship with the latest. You may not be able to scan without the latest drivers.
One of the issues with the printer is the startup time for the first print. That was the main issue I had with Epson printers. Seemed to take minutes of moving the head back and forth before it woudl print the first page. The Startup time overwhelms the printing speed unless you’re printing a lot of pages.
Hope this doesn’t have the 2 year timer to auto-break.
This is the first time I’ve bought anything other than an HP printer and I’m thrilled with the choice I made. It took about an hour from box to test print, on 2 computers in a home network. The basic functions are easy enough to accomplish, but this printer isn’t an average all-in-one printer. It really has corporate scale functionality and the online manual is cumbersome, so learning all this printer has to offer may take time if it’s only used in a limited capacity.
Save time and energy…print from where ever you are with this great wireless printer…easy to use and gives out great prints….photos especially great!…easy to set up even for non-tech person like me! Wish I had had one a long time ago!
