I bought this to replace one that stopped working for no apparent reason after printing maybe 100 pages. I recived this one and it was in ok shape but looked like it has been around the block a few times. It was very dirty and scratched up perty badly I just hope it lasts longer than the one i purchased new.
I haven’t checked the ink resivor tank to see if it will need a reset but i can do that myself when needed and I have the one from the old printer.
So far it works and that is why i bought it I also used the battery and bluetooth adapter from my broken one if the batt. and adapter would have worked on canon’s newer model I would have gotten one of thoes instead.
The i80 printer shipped quickly and I love the size and efficient way it prints. However, after using it for a short period of time the printer is not performing as well as I thought it would. When I replaced the ink cartridges the color was faded and when doing a cleaning I still have the same problem. Sheet feeding seems to be an issue at this point also. I’m using it as a second printer because of these problems. You get what you pay for.
This product is really nice. It really compact and is able to become compleatly portable with the addition of a battery pack and a bluetooth chip. I have had mine for around three months and it has never given me a problem at all. Its great for me as a college student because i can put it in my pack and if i need to print anything, whith the bluetooth chip, i can print without any wires.
If you want a portable printer, this is what are you looking for. Excelent quality, small size, portable, no noise, good looking, and awesome!.
As a graduate student, I wanted a portable printer to go with my laptop in order to do my research papers. This was in 2004. I read the reviews of several people having problems. I have had this printer for three years and the biggest problem has been that the paper jams if you insert too many at a time. (knock on wood) Other than that, I have had no problems and trust me, I have used this printer a LOT. I printed many a research paper using this little machine. I have printed nice pictures with it too. This is a great printer.
